Recapping the first half of January!

First, Happy New Year! My goodness, I cannot believe we’re on the other side of Christmas and now halfway through January. Time really has a way of getting away from us, right?!?

I thought I’d try my hand at a once a week blog post as I recap the week for you. Kind of letting you know what I’ve been up to on my IG feed and what I’m loving as far as style, recipes, beauty products, all the things.

Lucky girl! You’re getting two weeks info this time around because, well, we’re beyond 2 weeks into January and you know me and my blogging block!! 🙂

The beginning of January I was wrapping up a collab with @dressbarn. This gorgeous tie dye kimono is rich with vibrant colors that would pair well with just anything! I’ve paired it with leggings but it would look fabulous with denim britches and or over a dress. The colors are just so good.

Then I decided to take a break from IG for a week. Let me tell you, I enjoyed every minute away from the noise of social media but as the week moved along, I knew I would be happy to get back to what brings me joy.

My next post was this @amazon sweater that I purchased months ago. Not only is it comfy and trendy, but it’s hands down my most favorite purchase from Amazon up to this point. The quality is top notch!

My next post was taken as we were expecting a blast of winter weather! Of course, in the DFW area that could mean 2-3 inches of snow or nothing at all. Basically, it was nothing at all. But…I was most happy to wrap myself up in the cozy faux fur collar with this comfy cashmere sweater from @Amazon.
