Hey, y’all! It’s Wendy with Rememberwynn18. Thanks for joining me on this crazy journey.
A little about me:
I’m an almost 60 year old that has just learned in the last 10 years to embrace not only who I am as a person, who God created me to be, but to also embrace and enjoy the aging process and where it can take us. For most of my life, I have lived with so many insecurities that it kept me from being all God truly created me to be. I can pick myself apart until all that is left is a little crumb! Can you relate?
My life is full of many precious blessings, and at the top of the list is my husband of over 40 years. We have two children, son, Ryan is 39 and our daughter, Stephanie, is 34. Both of our children are married and between them we’ve been blessed with 5 grandchildren.
Why did I start Rememberwynn18? For many years both my friends and family have encouraged me to share my love for entertaining, food, home decor, and fashion. But, I wasn’t sure how to go about doing this.
For years I’ve prayed God would show me how to use the gifts he’s given to me and on September 26, 2018, Rememberwynn was born! I’ve never been more excited to start exploring all of the potential I’ve had locked up inside of me for years.
My age has allowed me the freedom to be all I can be and to not be afraid to fall. My name, Rememberwynn18, is a strong reminder of a time not too long ago when I thought I couldn’t just throw myself out there and share who I am deep inside, a lover of all things BIG: faith, food, travel, decor, fashion, and oh, HAIR! Oh my, the hair!
I don’t necessarily fall into the “copy cat” style of doing most things. I love what I love and I hope that I can inspire you to feel that same about your likes, dislikes, fashion and lifestyle.
One of my hashtags, #whatsinthemirrorisonlypartofthestory is so true. It’s not just about what we see when we look in the mirror. It’s about everything inside of us, the things others don’t see and it’s about our God given purpose here on this earth. Also, #sometimeswejusthavetogetoveryourself is another line that rings so true for me. It’s true, just get over all the flaws and imperfections and go out there and make a difference. Your story may be someone else’s blessing.
As they say, “Be the best version of you. You’re the only one that can!”
Life is a gift. I want to represent it well.
Welcome to my journey,
Wendy XOX
